Basics
What is Stocker?
Stocker is an independent research and decision-support platform for the Pakistan Stock Exchange. Every trading day it collects market data for the whole listed universe, computes indicators and signals, scores and ranks stocks, scans for swing-trading setups, and re-checks open plays for exits. It shows you the reasoning behind every verdict — and it measures its own accuracy in the open.
Who is it for?
Swing and position traders who hold for weeks to a few months. If you day-trade, Stocker's end-of-day cadence will feel slow; if you buy-and-hold forever, its exits and risk gates will feel busy. It's built for the disciplined middle. You must be 18 or older to create an account.
Is this investment advice?
No. Stocker is not a SECP-licensed investment adviser, broker or fund manager, and nothing on the platform — scores, signals, plays or alerts — is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. It is research output for informational and educational purposes. Every decision, and every outcome, is yours.
Does Stocker execute trades or hold my money?
Never. Stocker has no brokerage, custody or settlement of any kind. It doesn't know your broker and can't touch your funds. The portfolio feature is a record you keep of positions you hold elsewhere.
The research
What does the composite score mean?
Each stock gets a score from −100 to +100 built from 18 rule-based signals with published weights. Strongly positive scores populate the BUY feed; strongly negative ones flag the SELL side. Every card shows exactly which signals fired and what each contributed — the math is never hidden.
When does the data update?
The pipeline runs after the PSX close on trading days, roughly 16:00–17:00 Pakistan Standard Time: prices first, then indicators, scores, the ML rank and the strategy scans. Nothing updates intraday — this is an end-of-day research tool by design.
Where does the data come from?
Public sources: the PSX data portal (daily prices and company announcements), SCS Trade (~7 years of history, fundamentals and ratios), and TradingView (analyst estimates and classifications). We cross-check and apply liquidity gates, but third-party data can contain errors or delays — always verify before acting.
What's the machine-learning model doing?
An XGBoost model ranks stocks on 60+ features, aiming to identify likely top-quintile performers over the next 20 trading days. It's retrained monthly on a rolling multi-year window, and a candidate model only goes live if it measurably beats the incumbent. Its rank is shown next to the rule-based score so you can see when the two disagree.
How accurate are the signals?
This is the question most platforms dodge, so here is the straight answer: every signal and the composite score are measured against forward returns, and those audits have caught real problems — including a momentum tilt in the BUY ranking that we found, partially fixed, and are still reworking. Treat the scores as transparent research input, not prophecy, and read the methodology page for the current state.
Accounts & the beta
Is it free? What's the catch?
Stocker is in a private beta and everything is free — there are no paid plans, no card details, and no tiers. We're onboarding a limited group of testers so feedback actually reaches the people building it. Pricing may come one day; if it does, testers will hear about it well in advance.
What does an account include?
  • The daily dashboard of BUY candidates and risk-flagged SELLs
  • A full page per stock — chart, technicals, signals, fundamentals, plays
  • A personal watchlist
  • Portfolio tracking: record positions, monitor open risk, mark exits
How do I sign in?
With an email and password, or with Google Sign-In. You can reset your password by email at any time from the sign-in page.
How do I delete my account and data?
Self-service: Settings → Delete account. Deletion is processed within 90 days, after which your personal information is permanently removed. A few anonymized, non-identifiable records (like old activity events) may be retained for analytics and can't be linked back to you. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
What do you do with my data?
We don't sell it, and we don't share your watchlist or portfolio with any broker, advertiser or third party. Usage events are kept first-party (no tracking cookies or ad networks) for up to 365 days. The essentials are in the Privacy Policy — written to be read, not skimmed past.
